Former biathlon Liv Grete Skjelbreid (40) withdrew from the Fire Board with former head Kjell Tennfjord. She believes she has not managed to affect the team enough.
– I agreed to sit on the board because Fire has always been the club in my heart. I also had an ambition to contribute to a better performance culture. My impression now is that it is more a position orientation than an achievement orientation in the club. I have not managed to influence, and therefore I chose to draw me, says Skjelbreid to BT.
– There are too many hidden agendas in the team, declares the former biathlete, which is now in place in Finnish Kontiolahti NRK expert during the World Cup biathlon.
The first annual meeting of the club after relegation from the Premier League ended as a chaos evening, where newly elected chairman Kjell Tennfjord resigned after 75 minutes in the office.
The former Fire and Dump coach did not agree to change the setting from the Nominating Committee who he would have with him in the Fire Board.
When Janice Samnøy (54) was launched as a bench suggestions and was voted to the control room at the annual meeting drew Tennfjord – and announced that Skjelbreid Arild Christiansen and Tom Georg Olsen did the same.
– It went solely on competence, explained Tennfjord when he was a guest in TV 2 program Sport Lunch why he would not cooperate with the first lecturer, who has served as a director of Fire since 2011.
In an SMS to VG says Samnøy that she did not want to let themselves interview about Fire chaos hangover:
“Wish the nomination committee can work in” she writes.
