Gomis ‘OK’ after collapse at White Hart Lane – Sunnmørsposten

The French 29-year-old received oxygen after collapsed shortly after Tottenham took the lead in Wednesday’s Premier League match at Nacer Chadli after seven minutes. He was apparently conscious and able to communicate when he was carried out.

– It goes well with Bafetimbi Gomis. He was sent to hospital as a precaution, but everything is OK. It is the most important, said Swansea manager Garry Monk after Tottenham’s 3-2 win.

It is not the first time that Gomis fainted. He has previously lost consciousness three times when he played for Lyon.

– All players were scared, but the important thing is that “Only” have it better now. I hope he recovers quickly and can play again next time, said Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who is a former teammate of Gomis in Lyon.
