Mads Mikkelsen and Andreas still hang on reigning World Sebastien Ogier after ten stages of Rally Mexico.
Norway’s two representatives are doing well on the gravel in the Mexican height. Ostberg is third, 29.5 seconds behind Ogiers tenure.
Right behind follows Mikkelsen, who after 10 of 21 stages have 45.2 seconds up to lead.
– Today has gone completely according to plan. It goes so fast here that should push extra, then you have to have the experience. One must almost feel the samples out and should have a chance, says Mikkelsen after Friday stages.
– I was here last year too, but did not run many samples, so now it is important running with the inside of the head, follow the plan and do not fall for the temptation to give in extra. And just like that, it has been today! We have not made any mistakes and have not had problems, and are very pleased to have completed the entire day to fourth place overall, says north man.
Sebastien Ogier leads 13.5 seconds front Jari-Matti Latvala.
Rally Mexico is a special WRC. Several of speed tests run on over 2,700 meters altitude.
It remains five samples of Friday leg. The event ends Sunday.
