Molde coach about the rough period: – Players are adults boys – Dagbladet.no

• Viking – Molde 3-0

STAVANGER (Dagbladet): Everything has not gone smoothly for Molde lately. After disappointing results in the Champions League qualifiers, the domestic league and in the cup, it has been frustrating weeks for romsdalingene.

Coach Erling Moe believes that the team has players who are strong enough mentally to handle lows.

– It has been a difficult period. Players are adults boys, and I’m sure we will manage this.

– Not well enough

The new coach believes there are several reasons for that team that won 5-0 over Viking last year, missed Wednesday night.

– This is only an isolated battle. Viking was good, but we are far from the level that we want to be at, he explains.

– This is not good enough. Such is football. You must be with in 90 minutes and if you are not then that’s not what you have planned, he said.

– We lose too many duels, also on the first two goals scored. The final goal is a good shot free-kick, admits 57-year-old.

Amazed judges

In the heat of battle there arose a situation where Makthar Thioune should have turned a Molde player. Judge team ended up assigning Indridi Sigurdsson yellow card.

– I know nothing of that decision there. It was someone else entirely who should have had the card, says Moe.

Kjell Jonevret told Dagbladet that he did with his event.

– I do not know what happened. I got there simply is not with me, says the Viking coach.
