Norway’s new swimming king smashed his own Norwegian record – again. – Totally sick. I do not know how I get it, says Henrik Christiansen.
In Norway’s first World Cup final since Aleksander Dale Oens gold 2011 swam 18 year old Henrik Christiansen into 7.45,66 800m free and thus improved its own Norwegian record by four seconds (!).
It kept to a gunpowder strong 5th place in the final. In its first final in a major international senior championship was Christiansen just 1.62 seconds behind the bronze medal.
– It was absolutely incredible. I had not thought it would go so fast at all. I do not know what to say. It is totally sick.
