Official: Finjord new coach for football girls – Dagbladet.no

Ullevaal Stadium (Dagbladet): NFF announced early today that Even Pellerud gives himself as head coach for the Norwegian football girls.

There it was confirmed that Roger Finjord becomes new coach. He comes from the role of assistant coach.

– We are delighted that Roger accepted. He has been a clear profile around the team earlier and burns very for this product. He has clear, clear goals we will achieve with this team here. We are therefore pleased that he accepts, said soccer president Yngve Hallen.

– He has all the qualities it takes, including a burning commitment, complementing top football manager Nils Johan Semb.

Finjord even compares the task of jump by Sten.

– I am fiercely proud to be allowed to lead one of the two major flagships of Norwegian football. We’re going into new waters and fervently wants to succeed.

– It is important for me to strike up a conversation I had with Even Pellerud in 2013. The first thing he said was that he wanted to give me so much confidence that I could get grow and participate in the development. There is not a day I have felt that he did not mean what he said then, says Finjord.

– I’ll do everything I can for us to succeed.

The new national team is clear that the goal is to get to the Olympics, the next European Championship and then the World Cup in France.

Football President Yngve Hallen spent preamble to boast Even Pellerud. He is the president much of the credit for the team’s success and the growing popularity in recent years.
