Shelves Finjord intense opening monologue – NRK

Press Conferences quickly becomes melancholy and predictable, but most interviews with Roger Finjord will not, as history has shown.

When Roger Finjord was presented as national coach he took the microphone and thanked for the trust he’s shown as the new national coach. It ended with an almost 17 minute long monologue which contained both thoughts about national and international football, Lopphavet and thanks to predecessor and family.

And the audience misled.

On Twitter there was an amused audience who responded to the session.

Football Commentator Kenneth Fredheim was impressed.

Steffen Stenersen had associations with Al Pacino in the film classic Any Given Sunday.

Sports Editor Bertil Valderhaug drew Obama-link.

TV2 Helene Husvik believe Finjord motivation abilities.

Sport Journalist Mikal Aaserud believes Finjord can be useful in many places.

When Finjord towards the end of the session said that the pursuit of an assistant were in full swing, however put any finger on a possible problem.

Stig Nygård in TV 2 points to a natural problem towards the end of the session.
