• Germany – Poland 3-1 (2-1)
(Dagbladet): Poland led EM Group D with one point in Germany before the evening peak settlement in Germany. Poles beat the reigning world champions in the first match in this group, and it was evident that the Germans would revenge the loss at home in Frankfurt.
And for a fireworks of a football game we were served from the start.
Germany went into a frenzied pace. After just twelve minutes there was a bang. Hector was lovely pass from the left flank and found Thomas Müller of four meters.
Seemingly simple
Müller’s ability to always be in the right place in the crucial moments gave him an easy job of broadside into its sixth kvalikmål in as many matches.
Seven minutes later the Poles problems on its right-hand side again. Mario Götze cut inward from the edge and slammed the ball in at the near post. 2-0 and the match seemed over.
Poland is a good football team, and despite being playful Germans knocked on after 2-0 goal came Poland constantly come with many players when they attack.

They did not, however, ten minutes before the break. A long and frantic clarification from separate calls goal was arguing with further midfield. Long pass found Kamil Grosicki on run down the left was perfect.
It was also medtaket and the subsequent post with the outside of the right foot. Weighted and screwed to perfection, did cross his forehead to Robert Lewandowski who knocked the ball into the net in front of the Polish away supporters.
Seven seconds into overtime was almost 2-2 as well, when Lewandowski volleys the ball towards the corner from eighteen meters. Just an incredible save from Manuel Neuer saved German leadership to break.
Despite a chance bonanza both ways after the break could neither team putting them immediately after the break. Stanga stood in the way of Götze and Neuer stood in the way of Poland.
So, barely ten minutes before the end, punctured Germany game. Thomas Müller shot from eighteen meters, deflected in a Polish bones, and thus had Lukasz Fabianski provide return.
There stood Mario Götze and got an easy job being tomålsscorer for the evening.
1.3 took over Germany in the lead group, while Poland got Ireland up in the back after Irene’s victory over Gibraltar tonight. Germany have 16 points, Poland stands at 14, while Ireland has 12
