RBK-hero could fell to another French club – VG

TRONDHEIM (VG) (Rosenborg – Stabæk 1-0) That was the last touch on the ball. It was goal that largely decided the league title. But Anders Konradsen (25) could have been completely elsewhere than at Lerkendal tonight.

He confirmed to VG that he was heading to SC Bastia in the French top flight Ligue 1 this summer.

– I had the opportunity in Bastia. They were fighting about. But it was Rosenborg when the chance opened up, says Anders Konradsen.

– Why did you choose to leave Rennes and go to Rosenborg?

– Because Rosenborg are a great club in Europe. The team is on its way up, and there is a play here which suits me fine. I would be involved in this. Both sporting and extra-sporting, says Konradsen.

– What awaits Rosenborg away against St. Etienne in Europa League Thursday?

– It will be a tough team to meet with players who are at a higher technical level than what we are used to in daily life. But it will be a great test for us, says Konradsen.

He came in as a substitute in the 2nd half of Fredrik Midtsjø. A wiser switch has Kåre Ingebrigtsen hardly done before.

– The corner kick from Pål André Helland was perfect., It was a lovely feeling to see the lie of the goal, says Konradsen.

Rosenborg steer towards their 23 league championships. They have not lost at home since May 16 last year (1-3 Stabæk). There are 22 games in a row in the league at Lerkendal without loss.

And Trønders outlasting Stabæk last half hour of tonight’s series finale at Lerkendal. But the massive pressure did not seem to give the decisive goal. Not until Konradsen soared on a corner three minutes into injury time.

Pål André Helland did not realize how RBK will poke out the league trophy. In that case, the first in his career. All the starting lineup has never won a major title in the black and white habit.

– We must brave the rest of the matches. And we have only lost two of the last 23 in the series. I do not understand how it can take place, says Helland.

He tells VG that it was a crazy atmosphere in the dressing room afterwards. It smelled gold. It stank league title. And maybe there will be Cups, and success in the Europa League. Now everything is possible for Trondheim superteams.

– We should do it properly completely. Three points here means more than just a victory. I believe them (Stabæk) feeling a little defeated. Them looked like a good old-fashioned silver birch, but we had heels on the ceiling. Like of euphoric mood in the locker room you should look long after, says Helland.

– Disappointing

Stabæk coach Bob Bradley was naturally a disappointed man after RBKs overtime goal.

– We made a good effort today, but unfortunately it just could not. I am very, very disappointed, says Bradley.

The American is however not completely agree with those who think that it was a deserved win for the hosts.

– Trøndelag will certainly feel that this was deserved. But I do not think the people of Bærum agrees. Football is also about to defend himself, something we did well – long.

He was also seen photographs of the disputed offside situation where Nicolai Næss was called off before Stabæk had hit the target.

– It was not offside. The foot was behind and her head was slightly ahead. But the flag came very quickly. says Bradley.

– Some early

Kåre Ingebrigtsen cheered wildly when victory was assured, but he does his best not to take completely in the interview with CMore after the game.

– I think it’s a little too early to congratulate us with the league trophy. But it was definitely an important victory for us, this says RBK coach.

– We played a very good second half and was unlucky not to score earlier. This was a fully deserved victory. We are good at creating chances and controlled much out there, says Ingebrigtsen to the TV channel.

How was the match:

The first 45 minutes had mostly. Except chances. Tight duels, an extremely well organized Away team, countless lost the ball – both ways. And a lot of strange passes. Especially offensively for Rosenborg.

Homemade did not speed on the flanks. Entries were scarce. The only way it smelled quite came when Yann-Erik de Lanlay squeezed from about 20 meters. Headed just wide after 37 minutes played.

VG Live: Follow the match minute by minute

Stabæk could have taken the lead seven minutes earlier . A perfect cross from Birger Meling took Yassine El Ghanassy in step. Belgian beaten, but the ball flew just over the bar.

It was clear that something had happened with RBK at halftime. It went faster, but above all more precisely at the start of the 2nd half. In addition, let the pressure high in pitch. Mike Jensen got two options. Ball Treffet were of the embarrassing battle.

The Dane showed class after 65 minutes. A perfect place to Yann-Erik de Lanlay. Ending almost set. But only almost. Mande Sayouba reflex save. It did Stabæk keeper also a few minutes later on a header to Holmar Eyjólfsson.

No wonder Kåre Ingebrigtsen took his head. The massive pressure did not produce results. And he got more to despair over. Pål André Helland took against Sayouba. He saved with his foot. In the next second he Matthias Vilhjalmsson miss when he simply wanted to steer the ball into the goal with his head.

RBK wagered fiercely on the victory that really should decide failed “best in the Premier League.” Substitute Tobias Mikkelsen was centimeters away from being match-winner six minutes before the end. But he hit the side netting.

Stabæk had their greatest opportunity when Ole Selnæs saved on the line. When there were three minutes left in the match.

Then came Anders Å. Konradsen up after 93 minutes …
