Confirms Bundesliga bid on estate-jewel – TV 2

Strømsgodset talent Iver Fossum (19) is on its way to the German Bundesliga club Hannover 96.

Strømsgodset sporting manager Jostein Flo confirms to TV2 that Hannover 96 has bet on Fossum.

– He’s not sold. But I can confirm that we have received a bid for him from Hannover 96, said Flo TV 2.



– Should already have signed

He will not say whether manor has accepted the offer.

Iver Fossum (19) and Gustav Wikheim (22) are wanted abroad.

– I can not say anything about the size of the bid and the like. But we can probably say a little more at the end of the week, he informs us.

According Hannover newspaper Neue Presse, reprinted on fussballtransfers.com shall Fossum have already signed for the club . Interest from Moas old club was known already last week.

– You know that we can not comment. We do not want to contribute to speculation, then it becomes standard answer “no comment,” said Strømsgodset general manager Erik Espeseth to TV2.

Fossum was one of Strømsgodset’s best players last season and contributed greatly to the Drammen team secured silver in the Premier League.

“The next Martin Ødegaard”

Fossum considered further as one of the greatest football talents and was hailed as “the next Martin Ødegaard,” though he is older than Real Madrid player.

The renowned English football magazine FourFourTwo were among the media that awaited Fossum as “the next Ødegaard “in February.

Strømsgodset can also risk losing Gustav Mendonca Wikheim before next season starts. Last week it became known that 22-year-old is wanted by Belgian Gent.
