(Dagbladet): Record company Betsson has decided to drop the commercials with John Arne Riise (35). Thus, all bonds to showings gone, and the road is open for a signing with Aalesund.

35-year-old will probably be presented at the Color Line Arena tonight. Where does Aalesund against Stabæk in the first round of the Premier League.
Riise has already been inside for medical check. Negotiations with Aalesund got seriously underway this week. Riise resigned his role as ambassador for Betsson. Record company is in direct competition with Norwegian Tipping, partner to NFF.
But it turned out that the game company put on commercials by Riise that they intended to use. Thus the link was still too strong for football.
In a press release writing now Betsson:
– Our solidarity lies with John Arne Riise, the team and all fans of Norwegian football. Therefore we have in Betsson decided frivllig to remove the future TV spots and other marketing campaigns that include John Arne Riise. In this way, John Arne Riise now freely sign for Aalesund.
Riise is anyway not applicable to games in the evening, then transition papers will eventually be fine too late.
In a blog post Friday writes Riise:
– Without Betsson had this never been possible. They’ve done everything. They have done everything to give me the dream ending that I had hoped for. They have canceled many events that were already planned. Betsson and Aalesund his patience is why this is in order. The other party (NFF, NTF and NT) has done everything opposite! I also want to thank NISO for fantastic support throughout this process.
