Girlfriend about Emil: – He’s been upset, but I’ve had faith all along – Dagbladet.no

UNIVERSITY PLACE (Dagbladet): Emil Hegle Svendsen went from 17th place and up to the World Cup bronze medal in today’s pursuit in Holmenkollen. It was a rally he needed after a very heavy winter.

boyfriend, TV2 profile Samantha Skogrand, can attest to that Emil had a hard time, and she looked forward naturally big on bronze boy’s behalf today:

– Different mood

– it was great fun that he succeed today, it is clear he has had it tough, and he’s been upset. Biathlon is a way of life for him and something doing 24 hours a day, all the time. Then it feels even better when you finally get the reward for all the work you’ve put down, says Samantha Skogrand Dagbladet.

She does not deny that Emil has not only been easy to live with this winter.

– he’s normally very focused when he’s home, so it has not really been such a big difference, except that the mood has been a little different. There, I’ve noticed a bit. But that’s when results are vain in a season he has never worked harder against.

– What do you think this medal means for Emil?

– I think this bronze medal feels like gold. Not least because of the principle of the pursuit. He had to chase. But he showed that he still can.

– Now loosen it

– What do you think about Emil’s opportunities in the rest of the championship, now that he has been given a medal?

– I think this is a day he’s going to remember anyway, but this medal can also lead to release it to him. One finds happily return to good form when one turns adversity into something good.

– Now he lower your shoulders a bit and enjoy the rest of the World Cup. I hope he takes several medals. But I’m always an optimist, I always have faith. But I’m not completely objective, then …

– Hat more tru than me

Emil was quickly on the wire for his girlfriend after bronze during f expensive today, and they met after the prize giving ceremony at University Square in Oslo center this evening.

– It has not been easy for me houses, but Samantha has been a wonderful support. It has been a hard winter, but she had threatened more than me. Her tru has filtered through to me, says Emil Hegle Svendsen Dagbladet.

He is a highly merited man, with 15 gold medals at the Olympics and World Championships. Today’s bronze medal he sits still high:

– Having taken gold before, so people think maybe that bronze does not mean anything, but just this year it means a lot to me. It’s a giant relief, says Emil Hegle Svendsen.
