Chelsea ravaged with a helpless and doomed Aston Villa – Dagbladet.no

The bottom layer and almost lost Aston Villa lost 0-4 at home to a form highly Chelsea in the Premier League Saturday.

It was class difference between the teams, and Chelsea have got up steam after Guus Hiddink was brought in as manager José Mourinho was fired after a difficult start to the season.

It took a button half hour before zero cracked at Villa Park. Several new faces selected for the London club in England’s second largest city.

1-0 at Chelsea came 26 minutes into the 1st half and the goal came after a brilliant attack. John Obi Mikel started it all with a pass to Cesc Fàbregas. The Spaniard found his compatriot César Azpilicueta down the right wing and full-back his elegant Reuben Loftus Cheek with their post. The tip thanks for forward game and scored his first for the club.

2-0 goal came in overtime in the 1st half. Brazilian Alexandre Pato got his debut for Chelsea when he was exchanged for Loïc Remy after 24 minutes of play. Aly Cissokho reef Pato down the field and got himself booked. The former Milan player even sat penalty in goals. Brad Guzan in Villa cage was after the ball, but did not reach the ball to a man with ten goals in 27 caps for Brazil.



Two x Pedro

3-0 came after the break. Once again came the goal after a great attack. Pedro received the ball from substitute Oscar and net long.

13 minutes later it was time for 4-0 to the blue. Once again it was Pedro who scored. Said Guzan had to give a rebound on a shot by Pato, and Pedro was clever close on the rebound.

Five minutes from time was the home side’s Alan Hutton fouled out to have suffered the yellow card numbers two.

Chelsea have beaten Aston Villa in seven of the last eight meetings. Saturday’s win was the first after three draws in the last three games.
