The English newspaper writes that Rösler was fired Wednesday after not having provided adequate results. Thus, he finished in Wigan under a year after he joined the club.
Wigan is located on 22nd-place in the championship series and have only won three of the first 17 games of the season. Thus it was not good enough for the club’s management.
Uwe Rösler came to the club after having enjoyed a great success in Brentford. He took Wigan to play off games last season, but has failed to follow up on the good start.
