(Dagbladet): Rosenborg could finally celebrate a long-awaited league title with fans after yesterday’s 4-3 win over Haugesund at Lerkendal. The players held gold party at The Mint in Trondheim, where there was a sing-along and a great atmosphere.
But not all the songs that were sung put it equally appreciated. One of the “songs” of RBK supporter core, is to shout out the phrase, “Hate, hate, hate Molde town”.
Yesterday was no exception, as you can see in a video on the addressees.
In the video works Rosenborg players as forsangere, and therefore took part in the message together with supporters. It gets Molde camp to react strongly.
– I think it is tragic that the players of Rosenborg initiate this. It suggests that it is perceived as legitimate in Rosenborg to sing such songs. What fans do, is one thing. But it is far more serious that the club’s profile players such acts. Several of them also represents MOT on behalf of RBK and that we will take up the organization. This is absolutely tragic for the football. If something like that had happened in Molde, it would become a big dish, says Moldes press officer, Per Lianes, to Rbnett – who first publicized case.
Sorry
Manager and Event Manager for Rosenborg, Tove Moe Dyrhaug, points out that it was sung many songs, and that the actual phrase was more like a refrain.
– I just have to say sorry, says Tove Moe Dyrhaug Dagbladet.
– Lianes says that if it had happened in Molde would have been a great dish?
– I’ll take that any not in the media, says Dyrhaug on.
– Embarrassing
Rosenborg player Pål André Helland was one of the players did not seem to ask twice when core went in once the aforementioned phrase.
Helland points out that he has buddies at Molde team.
– The supporters our reacted at the time. Let’s hope Molde use this as motivation to take up the game.
Do not hate
The core spokesman Espen Viken was even present at the gold party. He thinks it is sad that what really should be a celebration now has a negative focus.
– I think that it is not a desirable expression. It is not a desirable focus. I feel that we have a grandstand culture and a supporter culture that has strong expressions and messages express a supporter culture and nothing else. I deeply deplores that we hate Molde. It’s probably a stronger expression of the rivalry that has been said Viken.
He believes that yesterday’s gold party was like being with RBK players during battle.
– Yesterday evening at the Mint we were the stands with the team. It was a special setting. There were fans who claim the right to make their cry and have a culture around it, says Viken, which strongly points out that it is not about hatred in the true sense.
– When we talk about football, talk we that we love the team. Parallel when we talk about hate, then we talk about love to hate. It is not “hate” that is the right word, it’s love to hate, said Viken.
