Mourinho pushes Chelsea doctor out in the cold: Can no longer be involved in combat – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Yesterday Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro out and thanked for the support she has received for her weekend was hanged publicly by manager Jose Mourinho.

refs went on that Mourinho felt the club doctor does not understand the game.

criticism comes after Carneiro and several of the medical team run onto the pitch and checked how serious things stood with Eden Hazard, who took a hit in overtime.

Chelsea was already reduced to ten men, and became an instant only nine on the pitch, since Hazard had to wait on the sidelines after suffering medical help.

Unable to attend matches

And today shall Mourinho have made it abundantly clear that he was not satisfied with the doctor’s decision in a 2-2 match against Swansea Saturday.

According to British Telegraph has now pushed the Portuguese Chelsea doctor completely out in the cold.

The newspaper finds that 41-year-old to remain a physician for the first team of Chelsea, but that she was not allowed to be present during training sessions, games or play the hotel. The new rules for Carneiro should apply already from Sunday’s game against Manchester City.

Doctor’s new tasks will now only go on treatment of A-team players at Chelsea’s training facility.

Telegraph writes that it is not only Carneiro, but several others in the medical team, which will get new tasks. José Mourinho will earlier this summer have expressed a wish changes, despite the fact that Chelsea should have had a very low percentage injuries last year.

Medical joined in 2005

Whether this was planned changes, could not have been worse timing, says the newspaper.

It is not yet known whether Eva Carneiro will accept his new job description, which clearly is a downgrade from the job she has today.

Also in 2005, Mourinho enemies with team doctor, and it ended with Neil Frazer left his position after a dispute over Arjen Robben’s health.
