(Dagbladet): Today sent a one year old news from skating down like a bomb in Athletics Norway. The International Skating Association, ISU, removed 10,000 box of all-EM in Congress in Dublin in June 2014 and replaced it with a 1,000-meter.
The change applies from season 2016/17.
Despite the decision therefore is well over a year old, had apparently none of the runners notified that the 10,000-is now gone from EM.

– We have heard that there has been a suggestion many times, but I had not heard that it was adopted. We had heard that the matter should not be one of, say Bøkko.
– Seen from the outside it seems very strange that you have not come to know such a fundamental change in a championship format.
– Yes, I think it is strange that we have not heard anything we do, if that’s how it is.
Bøkko says that runners previously have said clearly from that they think it’s a bad idea to drop 10,000-yard box, but feel the performers are seldom heard by the ISU.
Bøkko is no fan to drop throughout EM, so including national team matches mean.
– We can not drop it, but now it becomes other runners who are going to compete. Although the Norwegian allrounders are quick, I think we are doing better with 10 000-meter championship than a 1,000-meter, says Bøkko Dagbladet.
