Keeper Grimsbø to MRI – Aftenposten

There is considerable uncertainty around the handball team goalie Kari Aalvik Grimsbø after Monday she was sent to MRI for his right knee.

DEBRECEN (Aftenposten): It is still too early to say anything on the outcome of MRI.

– I do not want to speculate on diagnosis. It is ulart. There was an acute injury, but it is not suspected anterior cruciate ligament or meniscus injury. She has hurt. To clarify more, we rbestilt an MRI, says national team doctor Nils Ivar Leraand Aftenposten.

– Do you have a suspicion of what it might be?

– I have no suspicion I’d like to share with you at least smiles Leerand.

Grimsbø will get the answer to MRI later in the afternoon.

The goalie played great parts of Norway opening game against Romania in the European Championships on Sunday and she had a save percentage of 48. It was in that game that she suffered knee injury.

Trønder girl is in great shape and it will be a great loss if she lose matches for Norway in the championship.

Esbjerg goalkeeper Emily Sando plays daily in the same club as Aalvik Grimsbø. She has been told by national coach Thorir Herrgerisson to pack your bags and be ready to travel to Hungary, in case she has to replace his goalkeeper colleague from club team.

Norway’s next match in EM is against Ukraine on Tuesday.

The case is updated!
