Chelsea manager again the Premier League with three points after they beat Stoke 2-0 away from home Monday. John Terry and Cesc Fàbregas scored the goals.
Chelsea went into the hundreds in the tough away match against Stoke, and it only took a half minute before the first goal was a fact.
A corner from Fàbregas was met perfectly by Terry and defender headed the ball into the net.
It was Terry’s first league of ten months.
Nasty tackle
Stoke were lucky who received continue to be eleven men on the field when it was played 20 minutes.
An absolutely terrible tackle by Chris Bardsley Eden Hazard got Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to run and gesticulate along the sideline, but referee Neil Swabrick contented himself with yellow. It should Bardsley be very happy, tackle was late, too hard and not least unnecessary.
In the second half determined Fàbregas it all with a unpolished finish from close range.
Stoke had some chances, but Chelsea were clearly the better team.
– This is a difficult place
Leader with three
The victory means that Mourinho’s men again have a trepoenger ahead of Manchester City and Manchester United are ten points behind after their draws result at the weekend.
Thus, it suggests things that gold battle will stand between Chelsea and City, unless United can take advantage of that they are not playing in Europe this season.
