No need to take off – Aftenposten

COMMENT: It is easy to go a little wild in superlatives after the handball girls swept Romania off with 27-19 in the opening match of the European Championships. We let it be.

DEBRECEN (Aftenposten.no): We let it be, because we’ve already got heartburn after too much goulash, but one dream fight is too thin basis to draw a conclusion bastant. Especially because it was just that, a dream match.

Norway got almost everything – Romania almost nothing. When the differences are kept in large handball. Then comes the final quiz question: Was Romania so bad because Norway was so good?

There is no doubt that Norway got Romania to look bad. There is also a big part of the game. Norway took away Romania strengths and although superstar Cristina Neagu got score seven, she was tamed. It went out of both Neagu and the rest of the team. Her seven goals came on 17 attempts.

Then it becomes like the noose in the old days when the worst boy got into position: Leave him shoot!

Kant Player Camilla Herrem admitted after the game that she had never been to a game where the whole team had to so much. Could it be repeated?

CEDA may be in place

There is a recurring played as much as White Christmas, but it still applies: Substitute defense, it is very possible that the goalkeeper is also good. And goalkeeper and defense well, the foundation is laid for counterattacks and confidence in your offensive game.

The second truth follows immediately after White Christmas. Maybe we should call the Driving Home for Christmas: The team that has the best goalkeeper often wins the game. Kari Aalvik Grimsbø saved 48 percent of the shots – Camilla Herrem club girlfriends in Baia Mare, Paula Claudia Ungureanu only 24 percent. Then it was not possible for Norway to lose.

At the end came Silje Solberg into the goal and we came closer to the suspicion we have long had: Norway has EM best keeperpar. Solberg took 42 percent of the shots on the scant 11 minutes she was inside. Not fun reading for upcoming opponents.

One dream fight is too thin basis to draw a conclusion bastant. Especially because it was just that, a dream match.

Norway tend to grow

The Norwegian defense game was gradually improved through firenasjoners at home, and yesterday it was formidable. Lille, large Ida Alstad loomed with its 1.72 and the rest of the gang moved his legs as if they were standing on hot coals. In any case, they did it as long as it was needed.

But again we are back to the question: Was Romania so unusual bad that they failed to play out the Norwegian defense? Perhaps we no satisfactory answer tomorrow either. When waiting for the team that is tipped to take one of the two last places, Ukraine. But Sunday hung Ukrainians with Denmark until break. So unraveled it.

There is no doubt that Norway got Romania to look bad.

But while we grope little in delusion between boasting and sobriety, it might be useful to recall the history of Norway. In any case, the handball. One of the foremost characteristics when EM athlete has tumbled as Lotto balls in glass ball on Hamer’s ability to grow in the championship.

If it will grow from what was delivered yesterday, hu hey where it should go!

Lifting Richly good play

Whether opponent collapsed yesterday, got Norway proved its strength. The layer is not dependent on one star, such as Romania is Neagu. Anyone can play this role. And more importantly: No one is afraid to try them. Veronica Kristiansen debuted on the national team as recently as last year, but have courage like a jealous terrier.

Stine Bredal Oftedal was perhaps a bit much ball throwing in the run and scored only six in three games. Against Romania was full “peddal” against goals and five goals. It did playmaker to Norwegian scorer.

mocking we not before Thursday’s game against Denmark.

The exam is 21 December.

We set absolute certainty on hold .
