FIRE STADIUM (BT): After 13 hour long board meeting, drew Roald Bruun-Hansen as Branns CEO clock 1:45 Tuesday night .
– In the difficult situation Fire located in now I have concluded that it is best for the club is that I step aside, said Roald Bruun-Hanssen in a statement.
Head coach Rikard Norling, who led the Fire to relegation continues albeit in the job.
The Swede has not spoken out after the board gave him a thumbs up, but he does now.
– He has been a very good friend and boss who I really respect highly. I respect the decision that he resigns, says Norling to BT.
About the evaluation of him as a coach, says Norling:
– It is one of the best development processes I’ve been through . There have harmed it has reached many things that could have been done better. I came here with ambitions to become a good Norwegian trainer. I have not been, but I still have ambitions, says Norling to BT.
