Høgmo will dictate the fight, even without the ball – Fædrelandsvennen

He said during the official press conference at Maksimir stadium and questions from a Croatian journalist who wanted to know what Høgmo believes is the largest strength.

– The team spirit is really high. We also have many skills in the team, and a lot of speed. And we want to dictate the game so far as possible, with the way we defend and attack on, replied the Norwegian national team in English.

Høgmo wants his team to have the ball much and board games on the way, but it can be difficult against one of Europe’s most secure ball layers. Therefore so Høgmo compelled to point out that there are other ways to control events on.

– We can do it too with the way we play defense on. Gone against Croatia there will be periods,

perhaps longer periods, where we do not have the ball. We must use the phases as well as possible to deny Croatia chances, win the ball and punish Croats with the skills we have in the team, he elaborated on Norwegian.
