(Dagbladet): At a press conference today did not exclude the UEFA president Michel Platini at the European football associations may withdraw from FIFA and thus boycott future world championship.
– Can UEFA withdraw from FIFA?
– I’ve said it before and I repeat: Europe’s national associations will meet. We keep all options open. But that’s not what I want, says Platini.
Belief in change
It is Jordan’s Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein who is Blatter’s opponent during tomorrow’s disputed election. Yesterday’s events, where US authorities partly charged 14 FIFA delegates for corruption, get Blatter to believe that Al-Hussein may have been voted FIFA’s new leader.
– Yes. I did not believe it until it happened yesterday. But enough is enough. People have really had enough. I believe in change, but there will be a lot of work out of the evening.
– Why do you support Prince Ali?
– Prince Ali is young and ambitious. That is why I am supporting him. He can do some good. He does not need money … Things are a little complicated in his region because he did not have support there, but he is a man who can achieve much good, says Platini.
Met Blatter
Platini says while he met Blatter this morning and asked the Swiss to withdraw from FIFA.
– I sat in the car and went to Blatter. I said to him: “Sepp, man to man – face to face – it’s time to step down as FIFA president.”

– Sepp was
NFF votes for Ali
Earlier today it was announced that the Norwegian delegation, with NFF president Yngve Hallén at the helm, has decided to vote for the Prince of Jordan during tomorrow’s election.
Hallén voted for Blatter in 2011, but has now been reversed.
– It is unthinkable to vote for Blatter, says Hallén Dagbladet.
– Prince Ali kept a very good speech, and leadership in UEFA asks us all to support him. As the situation has evolved in Fifa, can not believable with Blatter leader. Platini pulled out all the good things Blatter has done, but the organization needs a new leader. I’ve told this to Blatter earlier, and in dialogue with the rest of the national executive committee, I have decided that NFF will support Prince Ali.
– I hope that the way Platini has handled the situation on causes that we get broad support around our strong desire for change and new leadership, says Hallén.
