Krog swore to himself. So he knocked the world elite – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Magnus Krog went a brilliant cross-country and took his second World Cup victory in today’s combined event at Lillehammer.

Krog came out of nowhere when he took his first World Cup victory in Kuusamo in 2011. Today he finally on top of podium again.

– I went on last round and thought, “Holy shit, today I’m going to win.” It was digg, says Krog told NRK.

– It was about time I won again. This should be enjoyed, continues 28-year-old.

Krog went a very good tactical races and sensitive forces perfectly. He started as number 15 after the ski jumping competition, but did not give up until he had overtaken and passed all of its competitors.

In the last hill on the way into the stadium sat north man into pressure as determined current flows. Thus, he could rejoice in on the run.

– It was a delightful way he did it. Krog just loaded the gun and ran on. Absolutely amazing, said NRK commentator Jann Post.

Fabian Rießle from Germany hijacked second place, while Lukas Klapfer from Austria took the final podium position.

Jan Schmid was long in tetkampen but ended in 8th place. Mikko Kokslien went as always fast track, but could not climb more than 10th place.

Havard Squeeze thesis became no. 16, Jørgen Graabak no. 20, while Magnus Moan disappointed with his 21st place.
