Molde meet the reigning champion in Europa League – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Molde has had a good harvest in Europe, and on Thursday they won their Europa League group ahead of Ajax, Fenerbache and Celtic.

Under the current draw of 16 Round of the Europa League, it became known Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Molde meets Spanish Sevilla.

In other words, faced the Norwegian team that might was seen as the worst before the draw, along with Borussia Dortmund.

– It was a tough opponent, perhaps the hardest. They have won the last two years. It is a challenge both we, the audience and the players look forward to, writes Ole Gunnar Solskjær told Dagbladet on SMS.

The Spanish are reigning champions in the Europa League, and has won the tournament the last two years. Sevilla is the team that has won the UEFA / Europa League the most times with his four. They won two in a row in 2005-2007 as well. In La Liga’s Sevilla in seventh at the moment.

– It will not be easy

– It could not have been worse. They face the best team. They hunt hattrick in the Europa League. It will not be easy. It becomes difficult, says Dagbladet commentator Morten Pedersen.

He had anticipated a slightly easier opponent.

– I hoped for Midtjylland Anderlecht, Sion and perhaps Augsburg, who are struggling in the Bundesliga. Then the Sevilla instead. The best thing about the draw is that there are very many orange trees in Seville, says Pedersen.

– It will be a great experience. There are two big games. Nothing is impossible. Sevilla will play on artificial turf in March, says Pedersen.

Pedersen points out that there is a major drawback for Molde to meet Sevilla outside season. He believes Sevilla on its side wants Molde welcomed with open arms.

– I think Sevilla is the team that is most satisfied with the draw, says Pedersen.
