Atlético tamed reals starring in amps settlement – Aftenposten

Everything is completely open before the rematch between Madrid teams.

Real Madrid had not won in six encounters against crosstown Atlético this season nor today it would for Cristiano Ronaldo and co. In a close and chance poor settlement, defended Atlético well and lay compact in defense. Real Madrid starring struggled to break through and thus are teams equally before the rematch next week.

As expected showdown between rivals tough with several ugly duels and both Mario Mandzukic and Dani Carvajal was lucky to finish the match after a couple ugly punches and elbows.

Great chance in the opening minutes

– We played a good game, one of our best in a long time, but we managed unfortunately not to score. 0-0 is a good result for us before the home game. We would like to have an away goal, but the most important was that we kept a clean sheet, says Gareth Bale.
