Handball player died on training – Aftenposten

– This is just a terrible tragedy.

Handball environment in Ålesund is severely shaken. Monday night died a young baseball talent in training. It was the middle of an organized training in Fagerlifjell Hallen in Ålesund that the tragic incident took place.

A young gentleman playing at 2nd division Ålesund Håndballklubb were affected by heart failure. A doctor was in place in the immediate vicinity, but despite that resuscitation was attempted – and an ambulance came quickly to the place – stood not life handball player to save.

– This is just a terrible tragedy. I’m out of words. All my thoughts and sympathies are with his family and his next of kin, says an embossed ÅHK coach Lars Johansen Sunnmørsposten.

Dropper qualification

Ålesund Håndballklubb were immersed in preparations for the upcoming weekend’s qualifying games 2 division 2015. The club has already decided to enroll passports to Sunday’s matches.

– Handball is giving us very much, but at a time like this means absolutely no handball world stuff. Now we’ll take care of each other in the coming days. I know it would have been in the player’s spirit that we at one point got played qualifying, but we’ll just get back to whether it will be postponed or not. Right now it means nothing, says Lars Johansen.

Lars Johansen has just praised to share about the boy who passed away too early.

– He was full by . A good kid who you could always rely on. Training Willing, structured and set up always. This is just unimaginable tragedy, says Lars Johansen.
