Holmenkollen ski race moved to Vikersund: – Benefit for us, says Stöckl – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet / NTB): The canceled race in Holmenkollen will be replaced by an extra skiflying competitions in Vikersund Friday.

It decided it internasonale Ski Federation FIS in cooperation with the Norwegian Ski Federation and the organizers in Vikersund Monday.

– We were very dismayed at the situation at Holmenkollen Sunday afternoon, but there was no option but to cancel the race. Therefore we are very happy that we get to this solution with Vikersund, said event manager Terje Lund federation said.

Fog and rain put an end to the classic Holmenkollen ski event Sunday . Thus it becomes skiflying competitions in Vikersund both Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Race Friday starts at 20:00. There will be no qualification.

– This is very good. Our boys love Ski Flying, says national coach Alexander Stöckl Dagbladet.
