Skating Landslaget on beggar process – Aftenposten

Has started own fundraising to raise money.

Norwegian Skating Association has started its own fundraising campaign to raise more money for Sverre Lunde Pedersen and co.

– We are very happy for every dollar we receive. If we get into as much as 1 million during the season, we know that we have enough money to ensure that the best get done what they are going out of season, says Secretary General Halvor Lauvstad said.

Norwegian skating experience a sporty rally this season despite limited funding. This year associated had to make significant savings due to lack of sponsorship revenue.

Lauvstad describes the economic situation as precarious. So far the cuts not gone beyond the sporting efforts, but that the Norwegian skiers will get trained and competitor on par with the competition, they need fresh funds quickly.

According to the Secretary-General will the money from the fundraiser on the website skate Norway .no unabridged used on athletes. Anyone who contributes at least 2,000 crowns, will also get tickets to the World Cup in the Viking Ship in late January / early February.

– As of now we have received 45,000 kroner. We are incredibly grateful for, said Lauvstad in 13 o’clock Friday.

The Norwegian skiers go this weekend’s World Heerenveen.
