Now Kyvåg Norway Cup replaces ready – Dagbladet.no

Tony Isaksen takes over the job to Frode Kyvåg and becomes Secretary General of the world’s largest football tournament, Norway Cup. An era that has lasted for 39 years is over.

It writes Bækkelaget Sportsklubb in a statement. The Executive Board of the club decided Thursday night that Tony Isaksen (45) is new man in the job.

– We are pleased to have received such a qualified person to bring forth the legacy Frodes 39 years for the club. Tony is a knowledgeable leader with a burning commitment to children and youth sport, says chairman Øystein Rikheim Sundelin in the press release.

Isaksen currently works as managing director for sports club Vidar and Oslo Marathon AS.

– I am very excited to begin. I am humble considering all the work and the incredible foundation that is laid down over time, while very keen on contributing to the development of both club and Norway Cup, says Isaksen itself.

Isaksen new position after Easter next year. He will work closely with Frode Kyvåg, before September takes over as general secretary of the full.
