Lewandowski with decade’s header when Poland was ready for EM – Dagbladet.no

• Poland-Ireland 2-1 (2-1):

(Dagbladet): EM-qualifying match in Warsaw in the evening was more or less a cup final for both Poland and Ireland.

The winner would qualify directly for next year’s European Championship final game. Poland would go to the European Championship on 0-0 or 1-1, while Ireland would turn out the Poles if it was another away draw.

It was also as exciting as most people only had hoped for . Poland led the 1.2 most of the settlement, while Ireland fought and fought for the levy which would send them to the European Championships.

The managed never to push forward. Thus, Robert Lewandowski’s outrageous header, which sent Poland up 2-1, crucial.

Nervous start

The first ten minutes at the National Stadium was nervous and feel of a whole bunch duels in the middle of the pitch but then it exploded.

First took Poland lead as Grzegorz Krychowiak came to closure of almost 20 meters. The shot sneaked through the Irish defense and sped into the keeper Darren Randolph’s right corner.

The Poles were not long in heaven. Just a few minutes after a goal was Shane Long kicked in the face just outside of Poland sekstenmeter.

The experienced referee Cuneyt Cakir Turkish, pointed immediately penalty. Jonathan Walters put penalties in the net behind Lukasz Fabianski.

Robert-show

The battle continued in a hoarse dazzle pace, and players from both teams went into the rough duels. John O’Shea was the first who received a yellow card after running into a Polish player from behind.

The battle put a little more after half an hour, but it was Poland who seemed got more competitive all the way.

Meanwhile, the Poles something not irene has: Perhaps the world’s best footballer right now : Robert Lewandowski.

The last few months have been so simple as that if Bayern Munich striker get the chance, so he scores. There is little evidence that he has plans to give it up soon.

Just before the break he scored namely on what must be the hardest header for many, many years (no, we can not prove this scientifically).

Målkåt

A post was turned into Ireland box Krzysztof Maczynski on the right. At 14 meters plunged Lewandowski forward and shell the ball hard into the net behind a flurry Randolph.

The scoring was Poles 13 in ten matches in the qualifying round. Or 15 in the last six matches for Bayern and Poland if you want. Had the same thing happened in a TV game had surely shook his head and said “unrealistic.”

The scoring was otherwise Poland’s 33 in European Championship qualification, meaning that Poles are highest scorer of all in the qualifying round.

Poland continued to have the initiative after the break in Warsaw, but Ireland battled gradually into the settlement. The green got a little extra hope when the country’s highest scorer of all time, Robbie Keane has gone out for Shane Long after 55 minutes.

Irene pushed through much of the 2nd half, but when the opportunity came, it was not Keane, but defender Richard Keogh got the opportunity.

Almost too McGeady

Substitute Aiden McGeady made a brilliant work on the right before retiring into the box. There stood Keogh relatively unmarked, but a header was too weak and Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski had few problems keeping ending.

Ireland sent every man in the attack at the end, but never managed to get the goal that would send them directly to EM. The only result they created was that John O’Shea has been dismissed after picking up his second yellow card in injury time.

As Germany mess to 2-1 win over Georgia, must irene reach out in playoff against another group three.
