Scandal Scenes by qualifying match for the African Cup – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): It broke out chaos at Felix Houphouet-Boigny stadium in Abidjan as homemade Ivory Coast was ready for Africa Cup of Nations.

Ivory Coast drew 0-0 at home to Cameroon. Cameroon had already qualified before the match and the hosts kept it by one point.

When the referee gave the match after three minutes of additional time arose would jubel- and fight scenes. Hundreds of people stormed the field and ran towards the players, and pictures from the site shows security personnel turn orbit storm holders with batons.
