Alerts crisis calls for new Newcastle-loss – Aftenposten

The fans have had enough by now.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is under tremendous pressure during the day. Monday’s 0-1 loss to Stoke hurts worse.

According to the Telegraph writer Henry Winter, Alan Pardew will have gone away to fans to thank them after the game, but Newcastle boss was only met with hate speech from their own.

After the game he notified crisis talks with club owner Mike Ashley.

– I think we’re going to have some serious conversations, because he does not want to lose and neither I’m not. I am here to lead the team. I’ve never been in this situation before, but I’m a football manager. It’s my job, and I will continue to do, says Pardew told Sky Sports after the game.

– There were small margins in the game, but it was another loss. We can not continue to be beaten, and we must do something, says Pardew, who commented fans mishagsytringer follows:

– There is criticism and to some extent ridicule, but one must be strong and work Further, says Pardew.

Alan Pardew downplays the “threat” from Newcastle owner Mike Ashley.

Peter Crouch scored the only goal at the Britannia Stadium with his goal after 15 minutes played. Former Liverpool player Victor Moses did crossbar and the ball on the head of Stoke striker, who had no trouble sending the home side’s lead.

– This was an important game for us, and that we got three points can give us a new boost, says Moses after the game said.

Undeserved with three points for the home side was not. Stoke created the most chances, while Newcastle was pale until the conclusion of the game. Then Alan Pardew’s team very close to a settlement.

Five minutes into the match remained when Jack Colback got the ball six yards after a good Newcastle attack. Manager Pardew was certain goal and clenched his fist in triumph on the sideline, but the ball hit the crossbar. Typical foot a team in adversity.

Nest last

Three points after six rounds series means that Newcastle have only newly promoted Burnley behind him on the table. The question is whether it is good enough for club owner Mike Ashley. He was earlier last week quoted that Pardew’s days in the team are numbered if Monday’s game ended with losses.

One of Ashley’s lawyers will in the wake of the aforementioned interview have contacted The Independent to emphasize that statement was meant in jest. Time will tell if that was the case.

The pressure on Pardew will not in any case be less in the coming days. Saturday expecting a very difficult away game against Swansea.

Far nicer is the situation for Stoke-colleague Mark Hughes. He could post the season’s first trepoenger at home Monday. The victory lifted the team to 11th place in the table. (© NTB)
