- Privileged to be part of this – Romsdals Budstikke

Molde captain played the full 90 minutes as cup final ticket was secured on Nadderud Wednesday night. Berg Hestad believes the win was deserved, although Molde delivered a performance well below par.

– We were the best from the start. Quotes had a small period in the middle of the 1st half, but we picked us well again. In the 2nd half we were the better team without dominating. We messed up a lot and was too imprecise, but compensated by working hard and giving Quotes small room. Towards the end we painted only because we knew we had individualists who could settle this, he says to Rbnett.

Assists

39-year-old almost twice as old as the match winner Mohamed Elyounoussi (20). It was Berg Hestad who was second last on the ball when the “Moi” run from midfield and scored the winning goal.

– First and foremost, I would say it was a very good an assist, though perhaps not quite finished scored. It was high class with the way he cut into the box and put the ball in the opposite of. Fearless youth, fun to watch, he concludes.

Molde’s captain helped to win the Cup final in 1994, 2005 and 2013 and was also when the team was losing finalist against AaFK five years ago. Molde has won two league championships and one cup titles the past three seasons, and is within range of more precious metal.

Arc Ferd

– There have been some great matches the recent years. It’s amazing to go from triumph to triumph, and I am privileged to be part of this. It tends to be a wonderful setting for what happens at Ullevaal, and it is incredibly great to see a full swing full of Molde supporters. Amazing. We’re very excited, he said – adding:

– It will be an exciting fall, and hopefully we get a lot to celebrate.
