Norwegian Ski Association met Tuesday representatives of Petter Northug at a meeting of both parties refer to as constructive. Some VM clarification was not, however.
Northug is notoriously dependent on signing a contract with Ski Federation if he shall stand at the starting line in the World Cup and World Championships in Falun for the winter. Currently, there is no agreement on the so-called representation agreement.
Tuesday’s meeting was the second in the series, and to NRK characterize Northug Manager Are Sørum Langås talks as constructive. Furthermore, he confirms that it is hoping to find a solution.
– Of course. Otherwise we would not have seen it as a constructive meeting, said Langås.
General Stein Opsal federation share that view. He said that there will be new clarifications already this week.
