FALUN (Dagbladet): Anders Jacobsen (30) was told that he was rejected for large hill competition at the World Championships after yesterday training in Falun.
The fourth and last place stood between him and Johann Forfang.
– I chatted with the other coaches after the training. It was generally agreed to withdraw Forfang says Stöckl Dagbladet.
– Then I gathered all the jumpers in the hut at the top of the hill, and presented the team. Afterwards I asked Jacobsen for a chat. Then he answered: “No, not now.” And I well understand. He needed time for themselves.

One hour later last night gathered jumpers to a dinner at the hotel in Falun. There appeared also Jacobsen up.

– I’m going to have a chat with him today . Then he slept on it.

At a press conference at 10 today came confirmation from Stöckl and sports director Clas Brede Braathen.
Roommate
Anders Bardal is Jacobsen’s roommate in Falun.
He says:
– We have not talked much about it. But he was disappointed and angry yesterday. I well understand. We spend a lot of time on this. When you become wreck to highlight this year, it’s tough.
– How do you cheer up his?
– I think he has managed it well already. He was out and went for a long walk yesterday evening. He brightened mind and is enough for revenge, says Bardal.
