Didrik Tønseth probably gets Johan Olsson right trapped in their relay debut at the highest level. – Nothing to be afraid of, reports coach Vidar Løfshus.

The duel is likely on the second leg in a classic style Friday. – He is unable to walk from Didrik Tønseth. Johan Olsson is not so good. It was Maurice Manificat which was the best runner yesterday (15-kilometer). It looked well everyone says Løfshus said.

– I think that’s better than Didrik Olsson Classic. It’s a fairly easy trail, and runners who are in shape, you will probably have good chances to hang out with.

23-year Tønseth ready. – This is exam with great E. I slipped on to show me up. Whether I will have a few seconds ahead otherwise it’ll probably go in the back, says Tønseth.

He, start husband Niklas Dyrhaug and Anders Gløersen are all relay debutants in World Cup and Olympic context.

Three out of four runners coming from Trøndelag.

Victory Rush

Norway has prevailed in twelve of the last 13 World Cup relays. Sweden won for provisional last time in 1989.

Norway’s only defeat since then came in Austria in 1999. When sprinted Christian Hoffmann down Thomas Alsgaard.

Sweden has won the last two Olympic relays. Norway was fourth in Sochi one year ago.

After Wednesday’s 15 km were Northug concerned about what Olsson could find on the relay.

– Now there are many who are afraid Johan Olsson. I reckon that they put him on a classic leg. Then they will go four times up the little Mördarbacken and there are some that can “kill” someone up there, so it’s Johan Olsson. If he runs all four times, so it can be scary.
