Hattrick Ronaldo sent Wolfsburg out of the Champions League – Dagbladet.no

• Real Madrid – Wolfsburg 3-0 (2-0. 3-2 on aggregate)

(Dagbladet): Wolfsburg had a good base before the match at the Santiago Bernabéu tonight, but then they scored Cristiano Ronaldo two goals in just over two minutes, it was run for the visitors.

the first goal came after 15 minutes when Daniel Carvajal sends a lovely bow pass Ronaldo could easily put in goal.

Under two minutes later, the home side a corner and Ronaldo showed why he is one of the absolutely best footballers. The tip came in fast, jumped up and heads the ball into the far corner. Wolfsburg goalkeeper Diego Benaglio had no chance, and leaving layers equidistant on aggregate after 17 minutes played.

59 minutes later settled the same man fight, and his sixteenth goal in ten Champions League battling into the mix.

Classic film try?

Homemade continued to push on, and after 29 minutes got Karim Benzema opportunity, when he pulled into the middle with the ball. He has a hard shot, goalkeeper Benaglio got the ball and held around it as if it was about his life.

Real Madrid came close to extending the lead and dominated the first half. But Wolfsburg defended themselves as best they could, and did not give up. After 33 minutes they got blåkledde the ability to reduce, when Luiz Gustavo thumb latch with a real long shot.

Keylor Navas had to stretch right out to save, and unfortunately for Wolfsburg was no big chance on the following corner.

After over 37 minutes so that a moment very dramatic, Marcelo got Vieirinha hand in his face. Before got seen replays more closely, so it seems that the former fainted and was gone for a few seconds. But it all seemed that Marcelo tried his hand at a classic attempt at filming.

Snek ball through the wall

The Spanish capital team continued to show off in the second round, and Wolfsburg so more and more tired out in the rain at the Santiago Bernabéu.

After 65 minutes, played perhaps the greatest chance to score so far – disregarded goals. Shot from going in the post, and crept along the goal line behind Wolfsburg goalkeeper. The away side were lucky, and Benaglio got saved the ball before it disappeared into the target.

Ten minutes later, Ronaldo’s decisive free kick goal. It was Luiz Gustavo who came late into a tackle and was rewarded with both yellow cards and fouls against. And then tonight’s protagonist, Ronaldo slipped the ball between Naldo and Guilavogui and so the goal, it was all run for the visitors.

Wolfsburg did everything to reply, but never outwit Ronaldo and his men. Thus ended the adventure there for the German team, which nevertheless should say themselves satisfied with their Champions League appearance this season.
