(Dagbladet): MMA athlete Conor McGregor (27) makes headlines around the world after he last night announced that he gives himself.

“I’ve decided to retire at a young age. Thanks for the cheese. We Meet Again, “wrote McGregor Twitter.

Iren was supposed to meet Nathan Diaz to big fight on July 9 under the convention UFC 200. The fight will not happen – and McGregor’s special initiatives will surprise anyone who follows the martial arts .

– Should Conor McGregor add up? Only he can answer that question. I have no idea, says UFC president Dana White, according to the Irish Independent.

– But McGregor should not compete during UFC 200, says UFC boss.

the rugged Irishman is at training camp in Iceland, and McGregor’s trainer follows up on his own Twitter account:

27-year-old lost to just Diaz in March and now is therefore rematch canceled.

According to UFC president White should have been controversy surrounding McGregor’s efforts to promote sport and UFC. Daily Mail writes that the Irishman allegedly refused to travel to Las Vegas.

– He’s on the Island and felt it was not right to cancel the training. But all the other fighters coming (to promote). There is no excuse to not attend the press conference, said Dana White.

He continues:

– We still have a good relationship with Conor. I respect him as an athlete and like him as a person. But he can not decide not to face up to things.

McGregor is known to be a loose cannon, nor is it modest to fling messages around them. The sudden noise and alleged karrierepunktumet, has become a hot topic in major newspapers such as the Daily Mail, Guardian and Mirror.

When an Icelandic journalist sought McGregor for his version of what happened, it was a short answer from the Irishman:

– No, I put up. Fuck interviews, says McGregor, rendered by the Independent.

McGregor is UFC’s name and stands with 19 victories in 22 games.
