775 days after he left Real Sociedad in favor of Real Madrid, yesterday Asier Illarramendi back to his former club.
The 25-year-old midfielder underwent Wednesday compulsory medical test and is therefore ready for the club which trained by Scottish David Moyes.
Illarramendi, who presented to the fans at his new club Wednesday night, has recently been linked to several English clubs. Liverpool and Tottenham are both set in connection with the midfielder.
There is speculation that Real Sociedad pay in excess of 30 million euros, equivalent to 285 million Norwegian kroner for the club’s former star.
