Marcussen with weak World Cup opening – NRK

southlander opened with 14.47 and sixth in the first heat on the 100 meters hurdles, and Marcussen turns giving him no good start in the championship, where she has 14.10 which season best.

– I’m already happy. It is my fifth World Cup, and I struggled to get here. I am in my lifetime best form and it will be exciting to see what I can achieve, said Marcussen told NRK before the start.

The very fastest in opening practice was Dutch Nadine Visser. She ran to 12.81 seconds and set a personal record.

British favorites

Jessica Ennis-Hill, sjukampdronningen from the 2012 Olympics, opened with the second best time in the short rear end with 12.91 seconds. That she is with the medal fight in earnest.

Marcussen came with the World Cup in 12 hours after clear requirement last year. This season she has plundret achieve good results.
