Fully Jordal-punch when Valerenga backfired – Dagsavisen

By Per Erik Moen

JORDAL AMFI (Dagsavisen): Ahead went VIF out and asked guild for better punch their seats. Team was more and more response during the match, and Magnus Fischer struck the winning goal five minutes before the end and inside, it was a good atmosphere at a well attended Jordal Amfi (3253 spectators).

– It’s special to beat Lørenskog, which in many ways has evolved to become our archrival. We adhere well to the game plan in the 1st and the 3rd period, but was far below par in the middle period. Lørenskog could settled the game after, but the chance they took not, said coach Espen Knutsen Dagsavisen right after the game.

VIF needed time in all three periods. Robin Dahlstrøm sent romerikingene lead 4:48 minutes into the game. Filip Gunnarsson put the game.

Mathias Trygg and VIF offset when they also played in the hideout, and the atmosphere rose significantly when Anders Hilt Jørgensen sent VIF in the lead four minutes before the first break. 2-1.

Delete middle period

– We are successfully executing our defensive plan, which in short, is to not let Lørenskog get hideout into our zone. A good period of us, says “Shampoo” on.

Then came the mention middle period when VIF not implemented game plan, but Lørenskog contented himself with one goal, after winning the shot statistics 11-6.

– I do not know why, but we hung not quite together during this period, and we’ll just rejoice that it stood 2-2 before the last period, continues “Shampoo.”

Last Period bar more and more marked by two teams who were more concerned with not slip into reverse, than daring to put the decisive offensive. Much spout and run, without the whole big carrying power.

Beautiful, Fischer

Then, five minutes before the end, comes the decision. By Magnus Fischer. Captain Brede Csizsar had fired a slap shot from the blue line, the rebound from Lørenskog goalie picked up Fischer. He pulled the puck with slightly outward from goal, just far enough that he saw the opening in the opposite corner. With backhand flipped him the puck into elegant.

Beautiful, Magnus Fischer.

From there and the bar home crowd VIF players forward by turning up the mood a few notches. VIF players gave everything, really everything. And despite huge pressure contrary, kept it all the way.

1-1 in matches, and third semifinal in Lørenskog Friday.

Stavanger Oilers struck back against Storhamar and won 2-1 in Hamar before 5000 spectators. 1-1 in matches also there.

– With so many injuries Storhamar suffering, I am absolutely certain that the Oilers will take it to the final. Our goal is obviously to be resistors which concludes VIF coach Espen Knutsen.

PS. In one of the breaks, the world’s best slalom run, Henrik Kristoffersen, honored by Vålerenga with its own suit. Kristoffersen comes from Romerikssenteret municipality Raelingen but has publicly gone out that he is a sworn VIF supporter. A popular selection this evening.
