Vålerenga – Viking H

Norway, Tippeligaen. Vålerenga and Viking met in the opening series both in 2010 (Ullevaal) and 2011 (Viking Stadium), and VIF won both premieres 2-0. We think the fine range will also continue in 2016.

Vålerenga has ambitions, and coach Kjetil Rekdal believes Oslo team has the squad with the greatest potential. The crew Rekdal disposal is consistently good, but Vålerenga biggest problem last year was the lack of a goalscorer. They sold Premier League’s top scorer Vidar Kjartansson last winter, but replacement Deshorn Brown could never fill the hole after Icelander who blasted 25 league goals in his one season in royal blue. Daniel Fredheim Holm, Brown and Ghayas Zahid shared the title as the club’s top scorer with seven goals each, but with the returnees son, Mohammed Abdellaoue back can be found top tip that could lead VIF back in Norway top.

Based on winter friendlies starts VIF probably so against Viking: Sandberg – Lundström, Larsen, Wæhler Arvidsson – Grindheim, Stengel – Fredheim Holm, Zahid, Lindkvist – Moa.

Kjell Jonevret was totally honest when he was asked about the Vikings ambitions this season. A space in the middle of the table will be good enough for SIDDIS. Viking will miss Icelanders Sigurdsson and Bödvarsson. The former was captain and a vital cog in the defense, while Bödvarsson scored nine goals last year. Compared with who has left and who has entered so is enough space in the middle of the table is a realistic goal for Gehenna which last year fought for medals.

Probably sets Viking so against Vålerenga : Austbø – Danielsen, Mets, Soares, Haugen – Bytyqi, Ibrahim, Sverrisson, Adegbenro – Pedersen, Abdullahi.

Series opening on Ullevall tonight is a meeting between two giants in Norwegian football that over an extended period has lain dormant. They still have greater resources than most other teams in the Premier League, but has struggled to manage them in a good way. Valerenga has taken a lot from Sweden, while Viking have turned their attention to Africa and Nigeria.

Both Viking and Vålerenga delivered a rough finish to the season last year and has been unstable even in winter. They share fraternal in victories between, and it is often, OFTEN, accurate traffic when they play against each other. Last year it ended 3-4 in Stavanger, before Viking got his revenge by winning 4-2 at Ullevaal autumn.

In the series premieres use however Viking to mess it up. They always start the season somewhat slow and has only won one of the last six series openings. Valerenga have on paper the strongest crew and home ice advantage. Therefore, I land on a H. 250 million on Vålerenga victory. Games Top 1855.

Our tip:

Vålerenga – Viking 2,10 – 3.25 to 3.05 H

Total Odds: 2,10
