Here talking about Ronaldo Ødegaard for the first time – Dagbladet.no

ZURICH (Dagbladet): Cristiano Ronaldo (29) is in place in Zurich before the evening ceremony of Gold ball.

He fights with Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer to be named the world’s best footballer.

The three superstars uses afternoon to a scene chat in Congress house in Zurich. On Dagbladet questions – about what Ronaldo thinks about Martin Ødegaard – he replied:

– He’s a good player. A young boy. He is 16 years old. He has a good future ahead of him, said Ronaldo and continued:

– But we must give him time to learn. He must have time to make the right decision. But I see a lot of potential in him. He has a good left foot.

On training

Ødegaard trained with Real Madrid two days last week.

He also visited the club in November, and according to the Spanish sports newspaper Marca Real “desperate” after securing north man.

This is the first time Ronaldo commenting on the possible transition from Strømsgodset to Real Madrid.

Grower grassroots

The skeptics have doubts about Real Madrid is a right club for Martin Ødegaard. At a press conference in Zurich earlier today said Real coach Carlo Ancelotti that it is important to develop players from grassroots.
