Rune Velta radiant in New Year ski jumping – Asker and Bærum Budstikke


 Velta jumped 134 meters and took the lead in the ski jumping competition in Germany in the 1st half.

 He was eventually passed, but struggled at the top.

 Anders Jacobsen jumped 135.5 meters and led the race for the 1st half. He was 1.7 points ahead of Simon Ammann, with Peter Prevc from Slovenia in 3rd place.

 Velta was 8.5 points behind Jacobsen after the 1st half and the 7th.

 In the second jump he snogging with 136.5 yards and had three times 19 counting style grades. Thus he took the lead after his second jump.

 Monster jump in 2nd half made Velta leapt further upward results. Gregor Schlierenzauer was three feet longer in his second jump. Also Prevc and Ammann was better.

 Best of all was Anders Jacobsen. With 136.5 meters in the 2nd half and great style characters he won the race. Rune Velta was thus number five.
