Floorball player died after lying in a coma for eight days – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): The Swedish floorball player Tobias Wendel Stig (34) is dead.

Wendel Stig played at the Norwegian club Gjelleråsen and collapsed with cardiac arrest during a match in the elite division on Saturday 31 October.

– The family has now gone out with confirmation that “Tobbe” had to give lost in their most important match of their lives, writes head of Gjelleråsen Elite, Thor Dag Falkeid, the SMS said.

– My thoughts go first and foremost to his immediate family. This is so pointless and sad that it has not gone up for us yet.
