Threatened to resign – Tyson Fury became world champion in heavyweight boxing – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Late Saturday night, it became clear that Tyson Fury is new world champion in heavyweight boxing.

He beat Ukrainian Vladimir Klitschko on points in Germany, NTB reported.

It is six years since the last time a British boxer secured the world title in the most prestigious class box.

All the judges gave the victory to the British 27-year-old, with the numbers 115-112, 115-112 and 116-111.

After the match overasket Fury singing Aerosmith’s “I do not Wanna Miss a Thing” in honor of his wife and fans. He left no doubt that it was probably a good idea to bet on boxing rather than a singing career (see video on the right in the case).

Unhappy with the substrate

The structure for the big event has not pursued completely without drama.

Fury threatened to withdraw before the match. This because he was dissatisfied with the ground the box at Dusseldorf.

According to The Guardian was Fury very dissatisfied with the substrate, and thought it was too soft. Title Challenger meant it could even be a deliberate attempt by Klitschko to make him slower.

Tonight loss was his fourth in their career.

Fury, for its part, had before settlement won all their 24 matches.

Now it is 25.
