Considering sharpen safety during the Cup Final weekend – Dagbladet.no

Paris-terror makes NFF (NFF) looks at security measures ahead of the Cup final, writes Aftenposten.

– It is quite natural for us to look at the degree of safety after what happened in France, says event manager in NFF Dag Vestlund, told the newspaper.

– What happened in Paris is incredibly sad. It gives everyone involved in sport an eye-opener, that our events will be the venue for the kind of activities. Sports events are used to create awareness, he said.

One of the terrorists in France had ticket for the Stade de France and settlement between France and Germany, but was stopped at the security checkpoint.

After the terrorist attacks in New York on 11 September 2011, Ullevaal turned into a car-free zone. As was also the parking garage in the basement closed. Vestlund think it’s too early to say if one sharpens security in the same way in the cup final.

Rosenborg match at Ullevaal Sarpsborg Sunday while Avaldsnes meetings LSK Women in Telenor Arena the day before.
