Norway fought his way to victory against France – Dagbladet.no

Norway came from solid 4-0 Thursday while France came from 0-6 loss against Denmark. Everything would indicate a single Norwegian match, but it ended “only” with a 4-2 victory.

Norway got a flying start on Friday’s match. Robin Dahlstrøm did everything right then with great pace on skates cut through a pair of French backer, before he sent the puck in the goal with a cheeky backhand. Dahlstrøm has been one of the form players in the domestic league.

– There was no wet field today, but it held to three points. France played more physical than Hungarians, and they played a bit on the limit all the time, said Dahlstrøm to TV2.

Passive

Aside from the good opening there was little to cheer for the rest of the period. The French were looking for revenge Thursday’s 0-6 loss against Denmark. Their ongoing and attacking play meant that the Norwegian players seemed passive.

It was not quite patent defending when France got equalize. Jordann Perret got unhindered stand in front of goal, and he held the puck into the goal behind Steffen Søberg.

The Norwegian game improved many notches in the middle period, and the French players eventually had to resort to many abuses.

– We were a little puny in the 1st period, but it improved thankfully rest of the game. We have not prioritized specially our game for this tournament because we are missing so many players who make up the bit in a VM, said assistant coach Knut Jørgen Stubdal.

France conceded five of their six goals outnumbered against Denmark Thursday, but the Norwegian hideout game was not quite in style.

It should, however, succeeded for the hosts when Mats Larsen Mostue blasted a wrist shot. Mostue was one of many players who got the chance to try their hand in this tournament because of maturity. Oilers player from Hamar presented itself with its great goal.

– It was good to put it. It is hard ceilings with lots overtall- and outnumbered games all the time, said Mostue to TV2.

Have impressed

Alexander Reichenberg has impressed for Storhamar in the Champions League this season. Lillehammer The boy did 3-1 in a new hideout in the 3rd period.

Shortly after the French could reduce to 2-3 by Florian Chakiachvili.

Robin Dahlstrøm was a big bright spot on the Norwegian team, and Lørenskog player punctured the match with his 4-2 goal. Exact match he went straight in the net.

Norway concludes against Denmark Saturday. The Danes beat Hungary 2-1 Friday. The match had to be decided on penalties.

Norway lacked loaves Mathis and Ken André Olimb in the struggle against France. They got free after Thursday’s match and have both traveled back to Finland and Germany.
