Benteke completely for the second game in a row after a record fast goal – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Christian Benteke came off the bench and sunk Leicester four days ago. Today he used only 22 seconds of the 2nd half to score Premier League’s fastest goal by side switch this season.

The brilliant opening of the 2nd half gave the one goal that Liverpool needed to take its second straight 1-0 win. Thus climbed Jürgen Klopp men up in 7th place with as many points as arch rival Manchester United on the square in front.

This year’s fastest

Just 22 seconds into the 2nd half lay the ball in the net. Nathaniel Clyne cross was flicked on by Adam Lallana, so that Christian Benteke fell open Vito Mannone.

Benteke did that against Leicester four days ago and put the ball in goal. It was the Premier League’s fastest 2nd half goal this season.

Although it was Sunderland who needed it worked, it was Liverpool who dominated also by Bentekes league goal. Out clear there were still not many.

The hosts never managed to outwit Mignolet. Thus kept Bentekes goal to three important Liverpool-points.
